Thanks to the wonders of modern technology, I can now offer lessons online to intermediate and advanced students.

So how does it work? what will you need to learn in this way? Well firstly, you will need a good internet connection. Next - a computer with a webcam and a microphone - many computers have these built into them these days. You may also wish to use headphones - this is advisable, but not essential. You will need Skype software and a Skype account - these are free. You will need a Paypal account, also available free. Many people have these things anyway - if you don't, just visit Paypal & Skype websites to get them, it only takes a few minutes.

Have a look round the rest of the site - after you have done so, if you are interested in having some lessons, contact me by email at and I will get back to you to arrange a (free) meeting with you on Skype to have a brief chat about your musical goals and also to check that your connection is going to be suitable. We can then jointly decide if online lessons using Skype are appropriate for you, and we can continue from there to booking your first lesson. Lessons last 40 minutes, and cost £20 or the equivalent in any currency - as soon as you have made your payment via Paypal, I will contact you by email to set up a lesson at a time convenient for both of us.

If you need to sign up for a Paypal account, go to the Paypal site.
